is the longest-running African-American family-owned newspaper in the United States. On August 13, 2022, it celebrates its 130th birthday.
The AFRO has partnered with Philadelphia Printworks to create this capsule collection in honor of The
AFRO

Afro Charities is currently fundraising to develop a permanent home and research center for the collection and planning to digitize its 3 million images.
