In this partnership NICOLE ZÏZI STUDIO marries artwork by painter Elie Lescot lll with limited denim pieces. Elie Lescot’s artwork is an expression of signs and symbols revealing transformative forces acting upon a people uprooted from their homeland. Influenced by Nikole Hannah Jones 1619 project these spiritual, emotional and mental connections ingrained created the “1619 1804” artwork. The artwork is a symbol of unity and empowerment. Elie Lescot III’s Art explores African American history through his lens as a Haitian artist living and grown in New York.
